Riso print

Discover the magic of Risography, a popular printing technique for original prints and posters. Experiment with bold colours, rough raster, overprints and the characteristic imprecision of the machine. Does your heart beat for ecology? Then know that the printer does not heat up and the inks and stencils are made from bio-waste.
We print on a Japanese press in SRA3 format with up to two spot colours at the same time. The maximum printable area is 291 × 413 mm. The inks are oily and therefore cannot be printed on smooth or glossy papers. Starting from higher print quantities, Risograph printing is cheaper than laser printing.
Document cutting is already included in the printing price. Printed matter can also be matt or glossy laminated, bound in metal ring bindings or on a staple (V1 binding), riveted, folded, creased, perforated, drilled and rounded.
- How to prepare data for Riso printing?
-
We accept data for printing in a 1:1 ratio in PDF format. We will be forced to convert other formats for printing and charge for these costs. Please do not discard your documents – we just need a single page (for example, a small postcard), and we will lay it out on a sheet for you. We recommend that you export your data with the PDF/X-1a:2001 preset and cut marks enabled. If you want to print in multiple colours, your PDF must contain one separated sheet for each colour. For example, a two-colour poster means one PDF with two pages (colour sheets). Detailed instructions and a number of practical tips for data preparation can be found HERE (Riso PDF).
